The blog has moved!

Hi!
I just wanted to post here to let everyone know that my photography blog is now merged with my website! Thanks to my friend, Whitney, and her husband, Nick, I have a new blogsite! Now everything is in ONE place! www.lilylovephotography.com is now the home of my sneak peeks as well as all the information about sessions! (The "about me" page is still blank. I hate writing about myself!). If you have any questions, there is a contact form on the website or you can email me directly at lilylovephotography@gmail.com.

Also, there is a "Leave a comment" link at the top left of each sneak peek. Feel free to leave some love!

Thanks!
Kristen

p.s. I will probably keep this blog for personal use...snapshots from family activities, etc.

Miss A's 3 year old pictures: Pt. 1 {Clarksville, TN Children's Photographer}

Here are a couple of photos from my Miss A's 3 year old session...This is only part one. My daughter is one of the most difficult kids to work with (for me anyway) when I'm trying to get new pictures of her. She doesn't even respond to bribery...believe me! I've tried! So...we're doing these one outfit at a time. I only have one other outfit planned, and I'm hoping to get part 2 photographed this weekend...so check back soon!

(the only black and white I've done so far^...and the color version for good measure.)

The Butterfly Festival {Oak Grove, KY Photographer}

Miss A and I had been having issues with our allergies at the end of last week, but this weekend we started feeling better...JUST in time to drag ourselves to the butterfly festival in Oak Grove. :) Here are some pictures...mostly snapshots...My husband tried to get some pictures of Miss A and me, but she was ALL about her daddy that day. That's not how she normally is, but that's OK!

(waiting for them to release the butterflies!)

2 Adorable kids! {Clarksville, TN Children's Photographer}

Today I had a session with two absolutely adorable kids! They're super sweet, and they were so fun (and funny)! This is one family I hope to work with again. I seriously could go on forEVER about how cute these 2 kids are!

(He totally looks like a model in this one!)

This next picture is my favorite so far. I think it may be one of the best photos I've taken to date. I LOVE this picture! She looks so innocent and sweet! I hope her mom and dad have built up strong defenses against this face!

Mr. L is turning ONE!!! {Ft. Campbell, KY Child Photographer}

Mr. L was the very first newborn I photographed...and I've been able to photograph him and his family many time in the last year. His mom has become one of my very good friends, and his big sister is one of my daughter's besties!

Before I post some of the photos from Mr. L's first birthday portraits, I want to give this disclaimer:
***NO GOLDFISH WERE HARMED DURING THIS PHOTO SESSION!***

To take this sneak peek full circle...let's have a look back at one of Mr. L's newborn photos! I'm incredibly happy (and flattered) that this family has allowed me to practice on them and grow along with them!

Stay tuned for a sneak peek of the cake smash portion of Mr. L's 1st birthday session!

Mr. E {Clarksville, TN/Ft. Campbell, KY Newborn Photographer}

Today, I photographed Mr. E. He's such a cuddly baby! He's the newest addition to an absolutely stunning family! Mr. E's mom, sisters, and brother are ALL gorgeous. Those kiddos are all gonna be heart breakers when they're older!

And a couple of detail shots:

2 Families...Adorable kids! Who could ask for more?! {Clarksville, TN Child/Family Photographer}

I had the honor of photographing the funeral services for an outstanding woman this past Friday. I've been wanting to post a blog about it, but I haven't been able to find the words I'm looking for yet...But there was such an outpouring of love! So stay tuned for a blog about that soon.

While I was there, I took a few impromptu photos of two families. Both of these families have the most adorable children! I'm a little biased when it comes to the first family. I had the two older children in the daycare where I used to work, and it was no secret that they were two of my favorite kids!

Here is the first family:

(Don't they look SO happy?!)

And here are the kiddos from the second family! They were really quiet around me, but I think that's because I was new. :) They had no problem posing for a few pictures, which was awesome because they are absolutely adorable!!!

Miss I {Clarksville, TN Child Photographer}

Miss I's mom is one of my husband's old friends. They live in California now, but they came to Tennessee for me to photograph Miss I. I don't get to work with 8-10 month olds very often, but Miss I is SUCH a happy baby! She made my job EASY!

^This one is my favorite so far!
